Glass packaging company Croxsons has partnered with Eden Mill to produce 12 miniature glass bottles for a Christmas gift set.

The craft gin distillery based in St Andrews, Scotland, ordered 140,000 bottles, for 11,600 gift sets and each pack contains 12 flavors including; Apple & Cinnamon, Mulled Gin, Blueberry and Vanilla, and Chestnuts Roasting On An Open Fire.

The bottles are also in individual Eden Mill Christmas Crackers; containing one miniature of gin and one distillery tour voucher.

The launch came following the success of last year’s ‘12 Gins of Christmas’ debut.

Croxsons created the miniatures, which come in 50ml or 100ml sizes, with a baby swing stopper that is precision printed with the company branding. The miniature bottles replicate Eden Mill’s larger range.

These bottles are a stunning example of what can be achieved in a miniature. The baby swing stopper really adds value to the gift pack with not only its effective functionality, but by creating a premium on-shelf appearance,” said Tim Croxson COO, Croxsons.

Eden Mill was established in 1810, when the legendary Haig distillers first laid down whisky at the site they now use today. In 2012, they resurrected the tradition of crafting and is now Scotland’s first combined brewery and distillery.

Victoria McLaren, marketing manager, Eden Mill, told BeverageDaily, Croxsons played a major role in enabling the distillery to meet short deadlines on a number of occasions, especially in regards to its ‘12 Gins of Christmas’ product.”
