Greencore has reached a deal to sell its bottled water business to Highland Spring Ltd for around £17m.
The company, which is a major supplier of ready meals to the UK market, said the sale was expected to go through by the end of April 2010.
The move will include both its Campsie Springs and Blaen Twyni facilities. Cash from the sell-off will be used to reduce its borrowing.
