Uva jointed the family-owned Swiss firm in June 2009 as Harman’s designated successor. Hartman had been woth the company for 38 years, 12 of which were as corporate VP. He is credited with taking the company from being a small player in flavours to the number two spot it occupies today.
Italian Uva, who has worked at Nestle, Sara Lee and Parmalat, has the mission of taking the division to “even greater heights”.
