Pernod Ricard sells off New Zealand wine brands

Pernod Ricard New Zealand has sold Lindauer and several other wine brands to a consortium of buyers for NZ $88m (about € 47m).

The alcoholic drinks maker said it was selling the Lindauer brand and several other New Zealand brands from Gisborne and Hawke’s Bay together with their related inventories and assets.

The closing of the transaction, which was signed on October 18, 2010, is subject to the New Zealand Overseas Investment Office’s clearance.
Pernod Ricard was advised in the transaction by Rabobank and Bell Gully.
