Pepsi-Chicken chips winging-it in China

PepsiCo has launched Pepsi Cola and chicken-flavored potato chips in China and cited the popularity of cola chicken in China, with consumers tossing chicken wings with cola.

The snack was launched in August, accompanied by a television campaign that backed the cross-category fusion – a key plank in PepsiCo’s Power of One strategy, featuring a young man with a dubious earring rushing out to buy Pepsi for his girlfriend.
