Heineken beer subsidiary debuts 'Mozzie Box' to deter airborne raiders
Heineken subsidiary SP Brewery launched a special beer carton this summer designed to repel uninvited guests – namely malaria-carrying mosquitos in Papua New Guinea.
Port Moresby based SP Brewery began treating secondary packaging with eucalyptus as a natural insect repellent, which it says can be torn off and burnt on campfires – around which a lot of 4.5% ABV brew SP Lager is apparently drunk – to deter the airborne intruders.
